What Rebecca does.
Your initial treatment will consist of a thorough consultation, discussing your current condition, dietary patterns, medical history and your health aims and goals. Generally a course of treatment is recommended, this can be anywhere from 2-6 weekly treatments, again this depends on your current state of health. Depending on the presenting condition, a treatment can consist of acupuncture, massage/acupressure, moxabustion, cupping, guasha, Chinese herbs, diet, breath exercise and lifestyle recommendations. Acupuncture involves gently inserting micro-fine needles into specific acupoints running along meridians, our energy highways in the body. Many of these points are located close to anatomical landmarks of the skeletal structure. The needles are usually left in place for as little as 3 seconds and up to 20-30 minutes, depending on the nature of your presenting state of health and condition
Problems treated.
